There are many ways to get to central London but sometimes for reliability and personal comfort, coming by private motorcar is the only option. We wouldn’t recommend commuting by car but when you have decided to drive, remember that Covent Garden is in the Congestion Charging zone. In and Around Covent Garden’s preferred parking partner is Q-Park Ltd. The Q-Park’s Chinatown and Trafalgar car parks are located just a short distance from the Centre of Covent Garden. The car parks are manned 24/7, have customer toilets, lifts and CCTV. The Chinatown Car Park has just undergone a 2.5million pound refurbishment and offers additional vehicle and pedestrian secure entrance system, free parent buggy hire, shoe shine machines, umbrella loan and car valet.  All visitors are entitled to special discounted parking rate when pre-booking a space in advance. To pre-book your parking, guarantee your space and receive a 10% discount off your parking, please click here and use the code PARK

With heavy traffic congestion, limited parking and the congestion charge, travel by car is the least advisable option of getting to Covent Garden. If you do however wish to drive there are a variety of car hire companies available to suit to every need.

And if travelling in comfort is your thing then London’s black taxis are a reliable, if expensive mode of transport. If a black cab’s yellow ‘for hire’ light is on then you can hail one from the street or go to the many taxi ranks across the city.
