A great new place for you to check out is Jar Kitchen on Drury Lane. We caught up with owners, Lucy Brown and Jenny Quintero (pictured above) and our first question was ‘What’s with all the jars?’. They are used as lights, condiment holders and flower vases, as well as when serving a few dishes. They told us it stemmed from their passion for sustainability, and guided them towards something a little different and homely on a tight budget, but they try not to go completely over the top!
We were delighted to hear that Jar Kitchen is proving very popular with customers who love their delicious and innovative farm-to-fork food prepared by Chef Dominik Moldenhauer (formerly at Heston Blumenthal’s Dinner). Dominik is creating some truly amazing dishes, such as Pigeon with nettles and mushrooms and Sea bass ceviche with avocado fennnel. Their menu is small but changes frequently, and ingredients are sourced from the very best suppliers who also believe in sustainability and quality.
Jar Kitchen is a relaxed all day eatery, serving great food and drink, open for breakfast, lunch and great pre-theatre, don’t delay, pop in today.
